JOB ESSENTIALS FOR STARTERS

This training is intended for those who are new to their job. In all countries, newly recruited or promoted employees must learn the essentials needed for their new jobs.

 

Training for one of the strategic positions, Head of Sales Dept., includes 32 Key Success Activities, which cover customer, competition, operation, promotion, department & store environment, performance management and human resource development.

In the standard 10-week curriculum, these Key Success Activities are designed as a series of on-the-job training activities, such as customer visit, goods receiving, ordering, etc. Another 16 classroom modules provide necessary background information and theoretical knowledge. In time allocation, classroom training takes around 30% while on-the-job training takes around 70%. The trainees will have plenty of practice to understand and digest the training content.

IN-DEPTH TRAINING

After a defined period of experience, our managers are able to widen their job competencies to become more efficient, or to expand their responsibilities. The subject matter of this training is more advanced.

 

Different seminars focused on 4 key areas - customers, operations, economics and human resources.

Delivering a successful customer approach:
Enable experienced store managers to maximize effectiveness in managing their customers, to identify target customers, acquire them, develop them to their full potential and retain their loyalty.

Providing an appealing and commercial store:
Enable experienced store managers to understand and apply METRO Cash & Carry's approach to store layout, product placement, signage, ambience and customer environment, thereby providing an appealing store.
