  £­ Store Manager  
 
  Role:
1£© To implement corporate policy and strategic decisions in the store. The most important tasks in this respect are the explanation of corporate decisions, convincing the employees in the stores of these ideas, and the successful implementation in co-operation with the store personnel.
2£© To be responsible for the fulfillment of generally agreed budget and to achieve the set targets through compliance of corporate operating procedures and effective management of the store personnel.
3£© To provide professional training in order to develop qualified and motivated staff for managerial positions within the company.
4£© To effectively manage the external relationships with customers and other parties such as governmental bodies, local press and communities to enhance the image and reputation of the company.

Requirements:
Effective performance of this job requires the person to be really hands-on and persistence to follow through meticulously key steps of the operational procedure. Essentially the profile of the job holder should include:

1) Bachelor degree or equivalent qualifications, preferably in Business, Economic or related discipline. (Must have)
2) Minimum 3 to 4 years¡¯ managerial experience, preferably in a service oriented businesses, such as hotel, fast food outlet, department store or supermarket, managing sizable workforce in meeting sales target.
3) Good leadership skills in coaching, counseling, development, motivation and performance management. Ability to inspire confidence in others, foster a team culture and achieve objectives through influencing of others.
4) Good communication (and listening) skills and fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
5) Personal quality such as maturity, integrity, career commitment and high energy level.
6) A high degree of business acumen with proven judgment in prioritizing tasks, having an understanding of competition and organizational core competencies.
7) A good understanding of key elements of running a wholesale / retail establishment including supply chain management, marketing, stock control and customer service.
8) Broad understanding of financial functions such as budgeting cost control, balance sheet, cash flow management and capital expenditure allocation.
9) Good interpersonal skills and ability to earn respect and trust from senior managers, peers, subordinates and external parties including governmental bodies and customers.
