New Competencies in METRO China Management
Shanghai
27 February, 2008 - as of 1 March, Mr. Jean-Luc Tuzes, currently President
and Regional Operating Officer China, will take over the responsibility
for other regions in Europe and Asia. Mr. Tino Zeiske, formerly Vice
President of Finance and Administration of METRO China, will become
President of METRO China. He will report to METRO Cash & Carry
International Management Board member James Scott.
Under the six year leadership of Mr. Tuzes, METRO Cash & Carry has become the
leading Cash & Carry wholesaler in China growing from 15 to 37
stores. His passion for quality and food safety has driven METRO Cash
& Carry to become a model for other companies in China and the first
choice for professional customers all over the country. METRO will
continue the strategy of providing safe and quality products to
professional customers in China, and to strengthen its network of stores
throughout the country.
